Privacy

This site is static. It has no forms and no login, and sets no cookies and no analytics of its own. Personal data is processed only as far as running the site and answering an e-mail require.

Who processes the data

I am the controller of the personal data:

Name
Petr Procházka
Legal form

Company number
03684181
Trading since
5 January 2015
Trade licence

The details can be checked in the public state register:

I have not appointed a data protection officer. The processing described below meets none of the conditions in Article 37 GDPR, so no such duty arises.

The e-mail you send me

When you write to me I process the sender address, your name if you give one, and the contents of the message including attachments. The site asks you for none of it — what goes into the message is up to you.

The purpose is to answer you and, where it comes to that, to agree on working together. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. For messages that concern no contract the basis is the legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely answering someone who wrote to me.

Correspondence that leads to no engagement is deleted within twelve months of the last message. Where an engagement does follow, it is kept for its duration and then for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

The mailbox is run by Microsoft, so messages sit on its servers. They go to no one else and are never used to send out offers.

Cookies and analytics

The site itself uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking script of any kind. It stores nothing in your browser and has no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. No visit statistics are collected.

The fonts are the ones already on your device, so nothing is fetched for those either.

Third-party content

Some elements of this site use content provided by third parties. In loading that content, those providers may use technologies of their own, cookies among them. Setting and managing those technologies rests with the providers concerned, and the operator of this site has no direct influence over them.

Hosting and server logs

The site runs on Vercel. Its operation involves server logs holding the IP address, the time of the request, the page address and browser details. They serve the running and the security of the site; the legal basis is the legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are not combined with any other records and I do not search them myself.

Vercel and Microsoft are US companies, so part of the processing may take place outside the European Union. Those transfers rest on the safeguards under Chapter V GDPR agreed with these providers.

Your rights

In relation to the data I process about you, you have the following rights:

  • the right of access to the data and to a copy of it,
  • the right to have an inaccurate record corrected,
  • the right to erasure,
  • the right to restriction of processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest.

How to exercise them

Send me an e-mail. I will answer within one month at the latest. You need prove nothing in advance, but if the request does not make clear whom it concerns, I may ask for further details.

If something is not right, please come to me first and I will gladly fix it. If you believe I am handling your data wrongly, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (opens in a new window).
